I made this just on work. Some pastime for some people who want to read some sh*t now that you have to wait for another week for the next chapter. If some like it, I'll make each day a next part from this little story. You tell me... The beginning is slow, I have some funny ideas for the next parts, but you tell me if you like it...
I wake up. The sun is shining. Ha, nice, it seems this will be a good day. I take breakfast and I see my dog, who's name is Tego, is very excited. He noticed too that the weather is nice. I decide to take a walk with him.
Maybe that is not very clever, since there is a war ongoing. The Fourth Great Shinobi War. And this is happening some miles from this place. So close to my door. But I don't care. This is not my war. I don't know what's all about and to be honest I also don't care. As long both sides leave me alone, it is all fine by me.
In the past days we heard some explosions in the distance and we saw some lost ninja's in the forest here nearby. But except that, all remained reasonable calm.
So me and Tego are on the road. We see some birds chirping, squirrels climbing the tree, rabbits run away, ... Tego barks and chases them after. But the rabbits are faster then him. I run after my dog when suddenly I see him stop. Next to him lies a corpse.
I go closer. I look at the body. He is not breathing, what doesn't surprise me. In his chest is a hole and his left arm is gone. What a horrible way to die. Stupid soldier... This is what you get when going to a war. And this is why I hate fighting. It gives only misery.
I look at his equipment and I recognize the symbol of his blouse. He was from Konoha... The capital of the Land of Fire. Hmm... I wonder, was he married? Does he had children? Or maybe he had, just like me, a dog alone too.
Suddenly I realise that there is something wrong. From the moment me and Tego found this corpse, the forest was dead. There are no birds anymore, no squirrels, no rabbits. Are they all gone? What is happening?!
I hear some explosions. Not so far removed this time. Tego starts barking again. He starts to get worried and is jumping around me. I try to calm him down, when more explosions follow. And more. And more, more, more. I can't restrain Tego and out of nothing he is loose and is running in the direction where all the noise comes from.
I run after him. "Come here, Tego!! Come here you stupid dog!!!!!" He doesn't listen to me. This is the first time he isn't listening to me. Is he in panic? I don't know. The only thing I do know is that I need to get him before we are at that battle that is going on.
Tego is faster as me, he keeps running. After a while, I don't see him anymore. F*ck, what can I do now. He is my best friend! I decide to keep going forward. I walk out of the woods, and I see some big hills in front of me. The noise is incredible. Now, I even hear people screaming. The battlefield must be terrible.
I look around me, where the hell are you, Tego?! But then I see him. He is climbing on one of the hills. What the f*ck are you doing, silly dog?! I call him but he can't hear me of course. He is totally in disorder.
I start climbing that hill too. My heart beats too fast. God knows what things I will see at the other side of this hill. No, NO! There is no time to show fear, to be afraid! I need to save my dog, I need to save my friend, I need to save Tego! The hill is bigger then I thought. My legs are starting to hurt. But I can't give up. Keep moving!
Finally, I see the top. The last meters are the worst, but after a minute, I am on the top of the hill. I look down, to the other side...
I already knew it would be a disgusting view, but this defies all imagination. This is not a normal war, between some nations or what so ever. I see some huge beast in the middle of the battlefield. What is that thing?! It has 10 tails and with those he is beating hopeless shinobi. The ground is full with corpses. Blood everywhere, limbs everywhere, grief everywhere.
I see some kid with some strange kind of Chakra... he is riding a big fox. The same for some dark person riding a giant octopus. They are attacking two other persons. This is insane. Sh*t is going on?! Am I high or something? But I need to focus. Where is my dog? Where is Tego?
