Maybe Yahiko?

I know it has never been stated in the manga that there were previous reincarnations of Ashura/Indra besides Hashi/Madara, but assuming there were more than them (the scan I read the Sage mentioned he neglected ALL the Indras before so would make sense that their was more than 1) would it be possible that Yahiko was Ashura?

Again I know it wasn't stated and this is all speculation, however I was rewatching some episodes and he shares some of the same qualities, as well as needing a whole followship.

That i'm not sure of either. If they always have to combat each other then I guess it doesn't fit.
