1. "Created the world" is obviously hyperbole. If the sword's appearance is any indication, the sword may have had some role in distributing chakra to ordinary humans (the sword appears has a double-helix shape, i.e DNA). Thus, "created the world" likely refers to the ninja world (which, incidentally, is what Obito is trying to destroy, NOT the planet Earth itself).
2. It was heavily implied that Obito's uncertainty / regret played a part in weakening Obito's strike. His sword was broken after his Will was... Obito didn't have the conviction that Naruto did.
3. Yes, a large portion of the sword's power came form the fact that it was swung by Naruto's Sage Mode Kyuubi form. Obviously Sasuke's PS is very powerful, especially with Juugo adding Sage chakra, but I believe it was the combination of the two that gave it its strength.
All-in-all, not an asspull at all. However, the sword should have been actually used prior to being defeated; the way it was unjustifiably hyped is just half-assed. Kishi didn't NEED to build up Obito's attack for it to seem like a huge accomplishment when Naruto/Sasuke defeated it; the fact that he implied all these ambiguous "feats" had been accomplished with the sword just makes it confusing.
