so i was watching Itachi flash backs okay then i noticed that when itachi looked at the Stone he was shocked, Now, in manga version of naruto (Chapter 671 Page 6), The Sage of Six Path mention that he left the stone monument so that people could reconsider. This is a concrete evidence that the Sage really created that stone monument. so i was watching a scene where Itachi's father asked him do you have anything to report he said no but when he sat down he saw the stone and was shocked could this be one of the reason he killed his clan
