Maybe Tenten has some hope afterall

Okay, so I'm pretty certain this has probably been brought to light before, but ah well, here we go.
Basically, everybody knows about our good old Tenten, and how useless she usually is.
BUT, after looking back at her in the war, I've realised something.
During her fight with the reanimated Kakuzu, she is using the Bashōsen, one of the legendary weapons of the Sage of Six Paths. She actually managed to destroy his lightning and wind masks before collapsing due to its draining of large amounts of chakra.
Now what I'm thinking, is what if Tenten somehow gets used to the cost of the chakra this fan requires, and in time becomes adept in using it over large amounts of time? Considering it can harness all five elements, it would be an incredibly lethal weapons in the maybe soon to be capable hands on Tenten. Anyone else agree that Tenten could actually become a big deal at some point in the future?

People do underestimate her alot I must admit I did myself till I seen some of her filler fights (only time she gets screen time) and I think she will master the fan and use it as a last resort (which is always xd jk..kinda)

And as for the original post, it does seem as though she has descent chakra reserves, I guess. I do give her credit for her weapon usage though. But as we have seen, weapons aren't as useful as jutsu, unless it is one of a legendary status. Or infused with a chakra nature, ie Asuma's knuckle kunai, Sasuke's sword, etc.

Serious answer, if she is allowed to use it after the war if they don't put it away since it is a relic of the sage she would have to do a lot of training and for what? The Naruto world is heading towards peace why would she need such a destructive weapon?

I suppose it could have been possible and I would have liked to see that.... the fact that she even figured out how to use it is something. However... If I'm not mistaken.... a Cloud ninja has reclaimed the fan so I'm guessing it was a one shot deal.

Past that, Tenten needs to learn her nature and imbue her weapons with it... She'd be alot more lethal that way but alas... Seems she's destined to forever be a very minor character! :/
