that is indeed an extremely thought and observed point I like it derpito
maybe he was, and maybe madara killed izuna back at the house.......
hardest thing he ever had to do cuz they needed more power, or izuna was dying slowly from FTGTobirama style
and madara just put him out of his misery.....
and he wanted to see just how different he and hashi were

Like you said Harley, it could be that Madara actually killed Izuna off-screen and that Madara was testing if Hashirama was capable of making such a sacrifice like him for the sake of the peace of their clans, what do you think?

Could be, Madara DID say that Edo Tensei was originally used for Military Purposes (he said so when he cast the Meteorite) so maybe Edo Tensei wasn't the compromise Madz Hashi and Tobir had, maybe it was just Madz testing Hashi. or... it could be that Hashi just promised to die with Madz much like Naruto's promise to Sasuke.

that's exactly what I thinkXDnow that you made this thread.It definitely adds more depth to the whole madara/hashirama story
and a lot more to madara's character if this viewpoint is accurate
