Maybe i'm just being hopeful at this point but can we really be certain it is Kabuto? Everybody is jumping to conclusions and assuming it is him instantly, and whilst it probably is 70% him, some stuff doesn't add up.

And yes, I AM analysing a foot. NARUTOBASE.

Kabuto's trousers cover more of his legs. Unless Kabuto had a wardrobe change or started stripping off (or maybe Kishi just forgot in the years he's been gone) this might not even be him.

The chapter didn't exactly make it a huge dramatic reveal it would've been. If somebody was returning or just entering the battlefield in general (like everybody in this manga) they get at least more than just one subtle panel at the end of the chapter. Remember the cliffhanger ages back during the Trollkage fight? A rasengan appeared but the perspective made people think that someone like Jiraiya or Minato was joining the battlefield- when in reality, it was revealed that....it was just Naruto...Kishi just did an odd angle to create suspense. There would've been more build-up plain and simple- which indicates that it is somebody already on the battlefield, no?

Makes just as much sense to me. Has interaction with Sasuke, motive and a reason to want to help. Maybe this is where he redeems himself. Again, i'm not saying it's more likely than Kabuto- i've heard all kinds of suggestions, Nagato, Shisui, Sage, Itachi- just reminding everybody to keep their minds open.​

i dont even think kabuto took that much damege so why would his pants be ripped and his feet be bruised..its not him

Funny , I was just thinking Obito? But he can't really move & would he defeat the Zetsu inside him off panel?

Kabuto was shown barefoot in the cave , he had his pants , I'm thinking who else might be but nothing comes to mind , Jugo can't be either since they were fighting Zetsu & going after Sauske .

But I think it's pretty clear that it is Kabuto .

Kabuto is most likely, nobody else makes sense. Obito can't have gotten over there, he was kilometers away. Kabuto's whereabouts at this point are unknown, so him being there would make sense, even if it is pretty convenient. I'm not saying that it absolutely must be Kabuto, but at this point he's easily the best answer to the question.

It does make sense, why else would Taka be rushing over if it weren't for a convenient catchup. It's just hard coming to terms with the fact that my favourite character has a 3-part story rather than just a 2-part. Kishi could write it really well for all I know but...it's unlikely.
