Some people have been like "nope, Kishi will never do that". Now that we know edo's are not effected by IT they will team up I guess. Well not as a tag team (I think they will team up with hiruzen and minato somehow) but it's still awesome.
IT cleared the battlefield from fodders and the high tiers are the remaining people.

I am also wondering how Hashirama could have intel about Madaras jutsu - is there something like a senju tablet? xD (jk ofc)
But still - how did he know what jutsu it was? Oo

I'm assuming that Mokuton is like a genetic ability passed down from the Shinju, seeing as Madara activated a technique that had the name 'Jukai Koutan' as part of it. Hashirama possesses a technique called 'Mokuton: Jukai Koutan'. Though the scale of the techniques is lowered drastically, as the Shinju is the original manipulator of what is now known as Wood Release. Just an idea.
