nope Naruto never loved Sakura like this, only narusaku shippers believe something happened but reality is pretty different.

Sakura had a crush for Sasuke and he liked her a bit too, both really fell in love at an early stage in the manga (before Sasuke left the village imo, he was the only one always concerned about her and that's why Naruto cared for her, because he cares for Sasuke first of all not because he loves her) but Sasuke rejected her love (he did the same with Naruto's love) and she was very immature (always crying and this doesn't work with him).

Naruto had a little crush for Sakura but once he found both her and Sasuke were already linked, he clearly moved on and never loved her more than a partner or maybe a sister.
Sakura is his bro love, when they were fighting against Gaara, Sasuke make him promise to protect her and later Sakura make him promise to save him.

Are you guys really dumb. I mean Kishi destroyed NaruSaku long ago in part 1, even before the beginning of Naruto's Ninja chronicle. To be honest, I think only stupid people really believe Naruto would end with Sakura. Also, those stupid people never understood Naruto, and kept saying he is an idiot simply because all the ignorant konoha people who did not know anything about Naruto were saying the same think. Cheese, the reader should know better.

Remember, the following after the formation of team 7:

(1) Naruto wanted to know Sakura's true feelings about him.
(2) Thus, Naruto beat Sasuke using real Ninja sneaky method.
(3) After beating Sasuke, he tied him, then use transformation Jutsu to look like Sasuke.
(4) Then, he found Sakura, and began an inside investigation.
(5) During the investigation, Naruto realized two think: (1) Sakura does not love him., and (2) Sakura loves Sasuke.

From this step, we see Naruto showing less and less attention to Sakura until the ultimate destruction of NaruSaku - that is when Naruto himself promised Sakura to bring Sasuke back so that she can marry him.

See, this is why I think only stupid people never see the end of Naruto. How can Naruto bring Sasuke back to Sakura while planning to marry her. this has to be the most dumb logic I have ever seen.

On the other hand, Naruhina was well build, well followed, and was consistently developed enough in such a non-love oriented series. The outcome was certain, and all dumbies have to deal with it!
