I mean from 699 onwards. Create two near identical universes so everyone can be happy. And of course he can't have said one word about which was canon. No salt to feelings of superiority just a good ending for all.

The easiest way would've been open ended. Lol It would've ended just fine if it told what became of the nations and finished with Naruto's inauguration and his signature grin as he puts on the hat. So, No pairings, no future kids yet, or anything like that. It felt like it skipped too far anyway. But, I guess it is to try and get people to watch the movie to fill in that gap. But, that's just my opinion.
