This series seriously needs more deaths. What have we even gotten from the good side throughout the whole series anyways? There's chiyo, asuma, jiriata, itachi, nagato, Konan, and neji, that's it. not a lot for a manga like this if you ask me.
After he left with Obito, he said something to Naruto along the lines of "I leave the rest to you". I read somewhere that in traditional Japanese literature, a teacher that says this to a student is about to die.
Well, if you think with fact, they both should die. Because Obito will be unstoppable without Kakashi. And Kakashi will be unstoppable too without Obito. Just think Kishi could gave Kakashi any power up but he gave him Kamui on purpose only to counter Obito's one because Kamui is too OP even for the whole NB. Kamui's only counter is Kamui.
@geezerock
you r wrong.he got kamui because it's obito's eye.also u could also ask why obito didn't took his sharingan eye from kakashi when he had a chance?
ot- in the last page obito's heart hole was still there.so it's either genjutsu or else obito can't die by chidori no matter how many times he gets hit by it.he did say something like,"no jutsu works on madara uchiha" back in the land of iron,so maybe it's true.
so it's either kakashi or no one.but it could go either way.
As much as I don't want Kakashi to die (again) and talk no jutsu is out of the question, Obito should be the victor between the two. It would be interesting to see Minato's reaction when he realizes that the masked man from 16 years ago is actually Obito. Just having someone telling him it was Obito all along won't be as good as Minato witnessing it through his own eyes.
Everyone is wondering why Obito still has a hole in his chest? Are you forgetting that Obito is half Zetsu? The side where the hole is, is where he had the zetsu implants after it got crushed. Therefore his heart could be somewhere else.
I think he will die because he's confronted the mistakes of his past, and it's symbolic that he said this to Naruto. "I leave this to you." His death would mean he leaves the fate of the world in Naruto's hands.
