I really have a hard time considering the current manga canon. Some of us have been reading the manga since 03/04 and have been waiting for the day naruto finally becomes hokage, reflects on his journey with flashbacks, and the whole chapter is dedicated to that since that was quite literally the point of the series.

Instead we got a joke chapter about a five year old knocking out naruto even if it was meant as a joke.

Some people try to compare this to naruto punching minato but kishimoto didn't ruin the only point in the series that actually really mattered, naruto fulfilling his dream and becoming hokage.

Wish we lost kishi vs iwata. One didn't attempt to ruin what he built and the other actively pursues that objective.

the chapter does nothing to take away the fact that Naruto still became Hokage, even if it wasn't portrayed the way ppl assumed it would/thought it should have.

That's not the point. He turned narutos inauguration of becoming hokage into a joke. His dream turned into a joke.

GT stands for Grand Tour, so not really a fitting name..

Stop being so whiny.
You obviously have a simple track mind. Gt was regarded widely as a bad series. Everyone else got it though so don't feel singled out.

Dont be comparing Iwata and Kishi, way to play with people's hearts
Rather lose someone who screwed around with a popular manga then someone whose goal was to make others happy.

He got what he wanted--that's what matters

that ceremony was more pomp than a necessity anyway, so it really wasn't that important to portray it with so much seriousness attached to it.
What do you mean? He literally started his quest to become respected by the entire village and become hokage. One could argue he accomplished that dream but even at the end kishi made him look like a loser. The whole village saw konohamaru instead cloning naruto.
