it was the same with naruto the difference was the next chapter came a week after. the hype remains throughout the week. but in boruto it won't for 30 days for content of a weekly manga

it does not matter who is fighting who,if the fight does not last long as we have seen in previous fights,then who cares,2 minutes combat between characters is laughable no matter who is fighting....the wait and suspense is just not worth the boring outcome

Even if Boruto was weekly, it wouldn't gain as much hype and revenue as Naruto did. It's quite obvious people relate to Naruto characters better than the Boruto ones.

The story line factors into the hype. Boruto, even while drawn weekly, its ratings wouldn't be as high.

i never said it reaches naruto's level. i just said the hype will be more than this if manga was weekly, because the chapters lately are hype but the wait kills it.

2 mins? well we all thought chocho vs shinki is short but guess what? took half the episode and was handelled nicely. let's not jump to conlusions. a 10 mins fight is good alot can happen in it without talking and flashbacks
