[Question] "Mature" Anime/Manga?

Hey!

Just askin if anyone knows a good anime or manga for "adults". Like hard core, brutal and blood spilling action and tricky twisting plot(like plot in death note) I like naruto and one piece, but they sometimes feel childish, like they're made for kids u know... i started to read shingeki-no-kyojin and i liked it because it was a bit brutal (titans ripping off limbs and eating every human they see) and it dosent have a lot of stupid little jokes everywhere. I havent read many mangas or watched alot of animes so i dont really know where i should start looking. So if ya know, pls share it with me thx.

Not likely, I was hoping it would get one sooner but the amount of plot, characters, and backgrounds will be a challenge for even the best animation company. Though in this day and age, Japan seems to be addicted to Gore, Mystery, and Suspenseful manga/anime so there's a possibility that some animation company will pick up the show, preferably the animation studio that animated Monster. But I'm glad I see another Naoki Urasawa fan I know a few others on this site also...have you read Pluto?

Not yet but am planning to pretty soon and I agree that Madhouse should pick it up since they did Monster(which is my favorite anime). I also agree that since Japan has started to step away from its Moe phase then maybe someone will finally start working on 20th Century boys.

Lol read it now, it's really interesting and Billy Bat is great as well. My only wish is for all of Naoki Urasawa's mangas to be animated then I will be happy U_U. I remember when I first watched Monster my whole view of anime and manga changed from that point on. o_o

Lol Ok I'll read it now then and I hope Madhouse decides to animate all of Urasawa's mangas. I wasn't seriously into anime until I watched Monster and after watching it I still haven't found something to fill the hole that Monster has left me with.
