Deidara. He simply can't compete with his aerial speed and multiple guided C1 bombs and even C3 if needed allows him to take this.

It's unfortunate Deidara doesn't have access to C2 here as Jiraiya counters with Yomi Numa, but it'd be extremely effective if he could it out there.

Can reach Deidara in seconds, once close Ranjishigami is enough to subdue Deidara and prevent a wide range of jutsu from him.
Rasengan is capable of one shotting. Gamabunta can one shot if binded by Ranjishigami.
Various other jutsus from Jiraiya that have heavy impact in this fight as well.

Full intel means Jiraiya and therefore Gamabunta knows to avoid or counter the clay before going in, Deidara has the same intel but he is a one trick pony.

This fight is a matter of closing the distance and thats something Jiraiya can do with great ease.

Bunta is Bijuu sized and Yatai Kuzushi is instant. He's not evading that man.

Instant based on perspective. Especially if Jiraiya summons above but thats not happening here.
I just don't see it being as reliable as other means, I should say.
