Artemis: continues waltzing around, clearly drunk to the end of wit.

Flipping through every last page, through the girl sees nothing in the book. "Blank?"

??: *heading down a large hall spinning about*

Stand at the balcony looking at the stars. She was all on her own and the rest of the partygoers were inside.

???: ~now where is it~

*continues to dance down the hall*

 

[Artemis81]

Artemis: suddenly jolts to attention, and walks carefully, still acting drunk, to a table. She collapses, and places a device underneath it. She walks out of the ball and waits for the fireworks.

*picks the lock going in the office*

dudududu...HmmmHmmmm..lalala found you

*cracking the safe*

 

[Artemis81]

Artemis presses a button, and a screeching noise fills the ball. An explosion, small and controlled, wrecks the entire room. Artemis returns and removes her mask. Underneath is another mask. It's a jokers mask, half white, and half red. She removes her suit to reveal an elegant red dress. She also pulls out a sawed off double barrel shotgun and walks impatiently through the room. She heads towards the second floor.

Flipping through every last page, through the girl sees nothing in the book. "Blank?"

*Bursts into the room*
"What are you doing in here?" she asks without the slightest humor,"You need to put that book away, it's very dangerous! It's too late for you to run, so you'll have to come with me. Maybe you'll be of some help...."

Stand at the balcony looking at the stars. She was all on her own and the rest of the partygoers were inside.

The man in red finally becomes bored of the party and walks up the stairs and outside for air. He is surprised to find the temptress from earlier. He starts to walk forward, but as the door behind him closes, cutting off the loud noises, he hears the beeping on his shirt. He looks around startled, frozen in place.

The little girl drops the book, startled. "Wh-Who are you?!?!"

Artemis: quickly walks up the stairs, and releases a loud warning shot at the entrance to the dimly lit hall ahead.

The girl hears the warning shot and flinches. "Wh-what was that?!?!"

 

[Artemis81]

Artemis: reaches the first door, and kicks it down quickly. Nobody is there. She searches the room for valuables.

The little girl tries to open the door so she can get out the bedroom and find out where that sound came from but the door was locked. "Why would a bedroom door lock on the outside?!?!" >_<

???: *finishes cracking the safe*

Artemis: reaches the safe room "I see you've finished cracking it. I caused a distraction. Let's go before we have every cop in the city on our asses."

The girl leans on the wall huffing angrily when she falls through the wall landing on her back. "Well.....that works..." ._.

 

[Artemis81]

*There is pounding down the hall, thundering footsteps running for the safe room.*

Artemis: "Get down, hide. I scouted it out earlier, into the fireplace!" she dives into the fireplace and hides in a secret compartment.
