i bet masaki can control the hollow form because she is a quincy. she could just supress it and bring out as much as she wanted whenever she wanted. that's why aizen thought ichigo was a dissapointment, cuz he could have had quincy powers, shinigami powers, AND HE COULD control vasto lord form which would pretty much mean GG for aizen

and yet she gets killed by a not so strong hollow didnt even detect him

form the manga it most likely she didnt want to be a quincy and didnt really acheive much with it
