From what this chapter showed us, Whitey was made from the corpse of a dead shinigami and gave it the ability to turn other shinigami into hollows. Aizen was curious about how this would affect Masaki since she isn't a shinigami.

On page 18, masaki acted strange for a second and went back to normal. On the next page, we see Urahara. I've come up with a crazy theory, that the reason Masaki was acting strange was maybe because she was near the presence of a shinigami (Urahara). Whitey may have infected her with same impulses he had; to attack any shinigami without distinction.

This may be also why Isshin gave up his powers in order to be with her, so Whitey's power wouldn't control her and force her to attack him. (I this is a long shot and less likely to be real so please keep the insults to a minimum)

I was also thinking about that, but I doubt that the reason why she was acting strange was because of Urahara's presence. He is a Shinigami, so he is definitely using a Gigai (at least I think), and Gigai hides the Reiatsu of those inside them. But who knows.

You got some good thinking there.

I dont think Urahara has ever used a gigai, then again we've seen little to no interaction with him and anyone else that doesnt have advance reiatsu for him to need to hide it. I've always thought that when a Shinigami or Quincy stayed in the real world long enough or too long their bodies actually start becoming more human, which is why Ichigo (which he seems to be the oddball) has to pop out of his all the time.

As for whitey... i think i read some terrible translation because i think i missed that part. i was confused at one image on the bottom the page which look like the back of Masaki's head and her ear. The bite... i was really hoping Kubo wouldnt go to the parasitism / vampir route with his story.

I can't (at least for now) think of any other way for Ichigo (after he obtained his own Shinigami powers) to have his hollow mask looks absolutely the same as the one White has and that that has nothing to do with this bite Masaki received. I personally think that it is indeed "vampire bite", but as I said above, who knows, anything is possible with Kubo.

When she killed the Black hollow "White", it bit her on her left shoulder as she blew off its head

The Black hollow is the only known hollow that is actually black. Its armor is in clad black instead of the normal white we are seeing. Tousen (the former Blind Shinigami) decided to name the Black Hollow "White", which Aizen immediately thought it was appropriate and Ironic.

thats why its name is "White"

The bite is plain as day in the the first cube of c.532 p. 19

You see the lower half of the Hollows face, teeth chomping on Masaki's shoulder right before she puts one hand on its head and blasts it with the mini reishi bow in her other.
