I don't understand why no one is talking about this.
A few days ago Marvel released what movies are going to be coming out in the next few years, and holy shit its going to be awesome.
I'm sure many of you non comic book readers are going ok, so what. I see more sequels of characters which won't be as good as the original, and who the hell are these new characters.
When you go see these movies in theaters, you will be in for a treat.
I'm going to put in my reaction and thoughts in this spoiler tag if you want to read, but I'm sure most of you won't.
So those are my thoughts on the movies. What are yours?
What movie are you most excited for?
How do you guys feel these movies will do against it's DC counterparts.

Ok so first up is Captain America Civil War.
This is basically going to be Captain America Versus Iron Man.
If anyone who is not familiar with the Civil War that happened between the superheros, I would suggest looking at the story line that happened in the Xbox 360 game Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.
Basically Superheros were going unchecked and causing a lot of damage while trying to fight other villains. Many citizens got injured in the process and wanted to put the Heros in check.
This led to the Superhuman Registration Act. Basically it required all superhumans to register. It means all of their identities would be reviled to the public. People like Tony Stark, someone who has already reviled his identity thought no big deal while people like Captain America felt it infringed on Constitutional Right.
So the movie will be around Good vs Good. Those who are for registering, and those against it.
This movie will have a lot of political factors interweaved in this story, and I'm sure a lot of action of good guys fighting other good guys. It will be amazing.
Next we have Doctor Strange.
Holy Shit! I am seriously excited for this one. When the Watchers came out, people had no idea about Dr. Manhattan and how strong he was. People thought he was the most OP person in existence when it came out.
Well Dr. Strange makes this guy look like a joke. I mean this guy is seriously strong. Basically Dr. Strange can do ANYTHING with magic.
Well I'm sure he has to work up to where he is in his comic since this will be an origin story, but he is no push over.
I think they needed to introduce someone seriously powerful because of what is to come in the next Avenger movie, but we will get to that in a bit.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2
The sequel to the movie that came out recently. I'm sure most are wondering how these guys fit into the whole marvel universe. Well so am I. I just know they will be involved in the last Avenger movie where they take down the big bad. I'm sure more will be answered in this installment.
Then we got yet another Thor movie.
More Thor. More Loki. This time it is the end of the world, and what they do to stop it.
Thor movies are pretty good, so I'm sure its going to be just as good as the previous two, just the stakes are going to be higher.
Black Panther
Hell to the mother ****ing yes.
This is Marvel's answer to DC showing a man of color as the leading role. DC said they were going to do Cyborg. Marvel is doing Black Panther.
Black Panther is a bad ass. He is the king of a advance society named Wakanda. Unlike most kings, when something needs to be done, he goes and takes care of the problem himself. he is also considered to be the eighth smartest person on Earth. He has a PhD in physics and is a skilled hunter, tracker, strategist, politician, inventor, and scientist. Some people even refer to Black Panther as Batman's equivalent.
So another Origin story, but more on a Super Human level rather then a Supreme Sorcerer who can do anything he wants.
I think the other reason he is being introduced is because this is where Vibranium is made. This is the metal Captain America's shield is made from, as well as the enemy in the 2nd Marvel Avengers movie. Very important in the grand scheme of things and how the Marvel universe is being told through the big screen.
Captain Marvel
Another Origin story, but this time with the Superman Equivalent. A guy with as many powers as Superman.
I don't know much about him, but I know he is strong as ****. He is also a key player in the Infinity Wars. They will need someone as strong as this guy to even stand a chance against Thanos.
The Inhumans
Another one I'm not too familiar with, but basically this mist causes human mutations and creates the Inhumans. We will get a bunch of super humans with this series. The only one in the line up I'm not too excited for, but it is mainly because I am not too familiar with it.
Lastly we have the 3rd installment of the Avenger movies. Avengers Infinity Wars.
This is the one I am most excited about. After this, people will know what true power is and why Marvel is just so damn OP. It is because of the villain Thanos(well one of the reasons).
We have seen a few glimpses of him in the previous movies, but this movie will be centered around him and his quest to make the Infinity Gauntlet.
Basically the premise of the big bad is this guy is infatuated with Death. Death is the women version of the grim reaper. He will do anything to win her over including sacrificing half the universes population in an instant for a tribute to her. Yeah. That happens after Thanos becomes Omnipotent, and gains control of the infinity gems. The irony is he becomes so powerful, Death is not allowed to talk with Thanos because he is above her.
I won't spoil how it ends, but after this movie, I have a feeling people will understand what true power is. So many people feel other fictional verses are so strong because they can blow up a planet, but it is because the verses that are way stronger are not in the main stream. Just as when the Watchers came out and people saw Dr. Manhattan, they will see Thanos and realize just how strong some characters can get. The crazy part is, Thanos isn't even in the top ten as far as Marvel characters go.
