All righty then. I'm just re-watching the marinford arc because it was epic. So yeah, threads are gonna follow.
Being that Whitebeard was the star of the show during the war, we saw him suffer sword stabs through his chest, face half ripped off, turned into swiss cheese and he still came forward. He was beyond a monster. He fought as if he was intangible; as if he was a logia. Now I could only venture to say it was because of his willpower or partial result of his CoC being so enormous. There are only a small hand full of people who have his willpower and are legends like him. My question to you is, Could Shanks take those licks? Roger? Rayleigh? Future Luffy? Garp? Doflamingo?
Seeming how shanks came on Whitebeards ship to talk about a scratch on his eye, you would think that excludes him from the argument. However, he didn't blink when he lost his arm, so that puts him right back in the conversation.
You would think that Roger is on the same level as Whitebeard with regard to being able to take damage and keep marching forward. However, it only to the thrust of 2 spears to end his life. Yet he was close to death which could've been the cause, So you decide.
Raleigh? You'd hope so but we just don't know. Of course I'm only bringing up the names of the strongest guys for a reason.
Garp? We sure know he can dish it out, being that his name is "Garp the fist" But can he take it? That's the real question. Unfortunately, Axehand Morgan one-paneled him early on; so you decide for yourself.
Doflamingo? We don't know anything about his threshold for pain, since everytime we've seen him fight, he's just outright owning people.
Future Luffy? that boy's showing some real promise. But if he takes it like WB did just to prove he can endure that pain, This manga will be without it's main character before the last episode. So chances are, he'll never have to be put for that type of torture.
