If Marijuana gets legalized I don't want the Gov' to have any business with it...because the next thing you know in 20 or 50 years people will start getting sick from smoking it because they will be adding these unnecessary chemicals...at least that's what I think.

Chemicals are already added by a lot of growers to make it more potent, weed didn't magically get stronger in past years. Though smoking it isn't the best route to go either as the smoke hurts your lungs, edibles are the safest bet.

Yes it's MUCH less dangerous than cigarettes or alcohol but ANY smoke going into your lungs is unhealthy, still it is by far the safest drug you can partake in.

No, marijuana is safer if it is regulated by government. As it is right now, marijuana can be laced with other shit, and bad for your health. Regulating it would prevent this, prevent criminals from making money, so gangs have less power, and generate profit from taxes. The only downside I can see is smokers will be more open about it so if you find weed annoying, then there's that. Also, maybe more smokers.

Honestly the more corrupt side of the government would probably find a way to slip different chemicals in to test the outcome.

Junk food is of course unhealthy, common fact, but only in abnormal amounts and the government isn't responsible for that. You might have a case for tap water but I don't think studies are on your side for that.

Cost of food might go up? If that's true than I think that is an argument not to have weed but I haven't heard of that.

All three are wild exaggerated assumptions without any factual stats to back it up. Please provide some reliable sources.

While I don't care if they remove the ban on it ( India applied it only under international pressure - namely USA). But having said that Bhang and Charas ( Hashish form) of Cannabis have been popular among certain class here. But also the degrading words like Bhangeri and Charasi for the addicts of this drug. And they were degrading because these people are usually not that productive people of the society, not very responsible and reliable worker for most jobs and often a burden on their families.
