Marco's DF is arguably top 5 in the OPverse. That's why I rank him so high.

Akainu didn't wreck him, none of the admirals did. Kizaru and Garp were the only ones to hurt him during Marineford (the former was only because of a seastone handicap). He can heal himself anyway, which is a huge plus.

Combined with his experience and (possibility) new captain position, he's not to be underestimated.

Marco's Haki had no effect on Akainu and he attacked him with Vista who is also strong. Also his devil fruit does allow him to heal himself but if he was hit by a haki induced hit by an admiral like Ace did he would die. Akainu is arguably the strongest admiral.

Also I'm not underestimating him I do believe he's strong he's strong but I think Marco is heavily overestimated as saying Marco is above Doflamingo is not an underestimation at all, also to be honest I think Teach would wreck Marco at the moment he has the ability to negate Marco's ability.

Marco can heal wounds from attacks that aren't Haki based. Every Devil fruit without exception is vulnerable to Haki and if Marco was hit by a fatal Haki attack he would die the same way he was still injured after Garp hit him with Haki he did not heal straight away.

No he wouldn't. Marco has been stated to be able to heal from anything like a phoenix does. Just like when Kizaru attacked him while he was cuffed in seastone.

He healed from it as soon as he got the seastone cuffs off. Logia can't do that. Marco didn't have to heal from Garp's punch as a punch doesn't split your limbs or anything. He tanked it. Haki attacks aren't any different.

If you have Haki your able to bypass his intangibility when he becomes a phoenix but you can't bypass his regeneration. You need Kairouseki for that.

Marco has proven himself throughout the war by being on the same level as the admirals. Doflamingo on the other hand was breathing heavily by a casual Aokiji attack despite knowing he would be attacked had he continued trying to kill Smoker.

DD caught Jozu off guard and managed to stop him in his tracks thanks to his hax devil fruit. It's no different if someone like Law catches an admiral off guard, he will slice them up because of his hax fruit. Despite catching Jozu off guard and having the upper hand, Doflamingo couldn't manage to do anything other than that.

Someone of his size going at that speed should be very hard for anyone to stop. Yet Doflamingo did it effortlessly. Doflamingo can definitely do the same to Marco. Imagine this scenario, Marco goes for a dive bomb (as he normally does) and Doflamingo simply side steps and entangles Marco in his strings restricting his movements and trapping him. Like I said, Marcos specialty is healing wounds, but he cant heal his way out of being trapped.

It's not as simple as you claim.
