The sun has set, the work is done,
The fight was hard, the battle won,
But some were hurt and others died,
The rest have fled at eventide.

And then we go not all to rest,
Adown we row among the blest.
Where wisdom great and living truth
Will give us life, eternal youth.

We halt not here, away we fly,
We sink or swim, we live or die;
We labor hard, we pull the rope,
And cling to life with faith and hope.​
