So, with most of the Sternritter on the table I was thinking we could toss up some discussion. First off, who's your favorite so far and why? Also, with some of these unknowns we have: which letters to you think they are? Finally, what Epitaphs are there that you'd think the letters stand for and any powers associated with it!!!
A- "?The Aristocrat?" maybe... Their power is probably standardizes Quincy powers just on another scale
B- "The Blade" (kind of like the right hand man or sword go the king)- his power is probably going to be peerless sword play (similar to the A's just between them and the other Ritter).
C- "The Cop"... I'm assuming this will be the old man who shot out Shunsui's eye. His ability will probably play on things such as: handcuffs to restrict certain abilities or moves, or maybe keen commanding of lesser units
D- "The Doctor".... Considering he was meeting Mayuri, I'm feeling he's a mad scientist/doctor guy. Probably powers parallel to Mayuri's
E- "The Explode" ... We already know.... She's badass
F- "The Fear"... We know
G- "The Glow?! Or The Gust" going on her first name with "lamp" maybe some power that strengthens nearby people basking in her Reishi. Or maybe she has some sort of dominion based on her Reishi glow radius. Or her first name with Toto (Wizard of Oz) may imply some form of wind power like tornadoes.
H- "The Heat"
I- "The Iron"... I'm banking on him not being dead... Especially with a name like Iron... I could see him having a power to line himself with steel or steel Reishi.
J- "The Jail"... Makes jails as we saw
K- "The Kilowatt/The Krieg" His robot/arrancar appearance and weapon/spike using makes me think he could have some kind of electric or robotic theme. Krieg means war in German (Quincy names and abilities based on German/Dutch languages)
L- "The Leopard"- Maybe The guy on the unknown bottom left. He has leopard patterns on face and suite. Maybe a speed ability.
M- "The Mage/The Mask"- Probably some ability to hide his presence in shadows or invisibility... Thinking magic like. Maybe the hooded "Unknown guy'
N- "The No One"- Possibly a Zetsu like person who can basically be one omnipresent for spying.
O- "The Overkill"
P- "The Parry/The Perfume" she looks petite... So some ability to be able to block attacks or maybe a cosmetic based theme with scents to mess with people.
Q- "The Question"
R- "The Roar"
S- "The Star"... Star on the head... Wrestler kind of famous guy... Probably extreme physical strength.
T- "The Tiger/The Tune"... Last name is catnipp which T works with tiger... Maybe a random shot but Tune with maybe some music trick kind of like Tayuya.
U- "The Ultra-Violet"...has that giant darkened visor... Reminds me of some kind of UV mask.
V- "The Vanguard/The Valkyrie"... Vanguard maybe some type of Jack of All Trades ability for fights. Maybe a war hammer if Valkkyrie... But seeing as we have had all English Epitaphs I find it sadly low.
W- "The Wave"... We have fire, maybe air, so why not water!
X- "The X-Ray"..Could refer to seeing through walls, possibly even being able to damage specific bones or something.
Y's- "The Yourself"
Z- "The Zebra/The Zephyr?!" Her name is close to Gazelle which is kind of Safari like with Zebra to me. Maybe Zephyr as her wings maybe give her the best flight though maybe not power.
Share any and all thoughts on Epitaphs...
Currently my favorites by Design are As Nodt and Cheng Du....but ability wise its between As Nodt's fear spike, Babietta's Explode (Kimbly much #FMA), Or Whichever Lloyd could mimic powers level
