But my point is that the kage did a good job on their own with their limited chakras

He wanted to show them who they were ****ing with. He wanted to get their hopes up and then smash them along with their bodies. Madara is no where near my favorite character in this anime but he is a big ass show off. He used all that mess because he knew his current status would just give him back all the chakra he had used. Could have also grown bored of their speaking. The little floating Yoda/Onoki was talking alot of junk and he just wanted to hush him up. Anyways. He left the how they were so he could take care of bigger and better plans. I don't look down at the kages but if you got the 1st DNA and you are Madara along with loads of unlimited chakra. The very name that loads of ninja fear, then damn you got yourself a big problem.

But Tsunade said it clearly he was for a moment so cornered that he used his wood clone to escape and he did not deny it
Its true that he was dealing with the kages very good even without perfect susanoo but the last combo gave him a good shock

I think he used PS because with the reanimation chakra he had wasn't his max chakra kinda like how Sasuke had Orochimaru reanimate the first 4 hokage and the second said "I'm about at max power" so somehow with the masses he couldn't waste time but mixing in his ego/arrogance he thought it would wipe them out fast but giving him the chance to play with them a bit

Only because he wasn't completely serious. There were clearly no openings for the Kage when he got serious and beat them.

Kishi's reason: I think the fight was made so long to show what everyone can do. If it would have been over as quickly as it could have been, we wouldn't have seen what everyone can do. Would have been truly boring and not fitting the kage.

Madara's reason: Entertaining himself, testing the people who came after his generation, teaching them a lesson of despair, supporting his own plans and beliefs that the moons eye plan is the right way since the world is still at war/hopeless, forcing his belief on others.

Why he went serious in the end? Because Onooki ignored his offer of mercy. I agree, he wasn't really cornered. But if he wasn't an edo, he would have started with ps.

I highly doubt that they woud last 3 minutes of course no one deny that he defeated them but he underestimate them and besides
He admit their power in the end we hage the proof in the manga

Well Madara was too OP for them he made 20 Susanoo clones, even Naruto will have a hard time with that

I'd disagree. Madara can run circles around them, especially the weaker links - Tsunade, Mei. The other 3 really don't have that much of a shot too. They'd all be killed of fairly quickly.

I would also like to point out that 2 of the 5 kages were completely exhausted by the time they joined together! Tsuande has already used a tonne of chakra to heal herself after being teleported, and not to mention healing both oonoki and Gaara.

But in the end, Madara had the advantage he had unlimited chakra, edo body so attacks can't hurt him, he had a vast knowledge of most jutsu, and oh let us not forget he has all of Hashirama's powers as well now. This is why the kages could not beat him.

They did the best they could with what they had!

I know what you are trying to say and i dont deny that they where beaten ultimatly Tsunade and Oonoki did the most in this fight without them the rest woud have been dead a long time ago
But still they where able to hold theirselves against such a strong enemy with unlimeted chakra an undying body plus hashiramas power
They did their best and hold their selves a good time against madara

Atleast whe can see even against perfect susanoo Tsunade raikage and ooniki did not give up i bet they woud even fight until the deat here you can see Tsunade still performing hand seal so they have courage

He made 25 susanoo clones this was really much
