Thank. Never I Have said that Jiraiya was stronger than Itachi. Just that in the First Gen , Jiraiya could be stronger than Itachi because we haven't really see how powerful was Itachi and that we thought that if Itachi flew against Jiraiya it was because he thought that Jiraiya was too powerful for him , when we see Shippuden , we understand that Itachi is stronger than Jiraiya and that if Itachi flew it's because he didn't want to kill Jiraiya who protected Naruto and was an important element of Konoha.
