Manipulating Magic

Rouge is using dragon manipulation magic to control the dragons.

So do you think other types of manipulation magic exists?

Zeref controlled demons so maybe he was using Demon manipulation magic which could be related to his dark arts. Also celestial magic is similar to manipulation magic because the spirits listen to your every command. Maybe it's related to it somehow.

What are your thoughts on manipulation magic?

I believe that this manipulation technique is fishy. Maybe it's something only the shadow dragonslayer possesses or maybe it's a magic discovered by someone like Zeref that F-Rogue found somewhere in the future. Regarding manipulation, we actually lack such magic of this scale in the Fairy-tail universe. We seen mary hughes in the anime doing it, we've seen Bickslow being able to control a single person, but dragons? Seven dragons ?

My thoughts on general manipulation is that it feels like a cheap trick. I consider Bickslow scary because of that ability, but it makes me feel the plot doesn't need controled people. Bickslow's manipulation is minimum while Rogue's is lifechanging and feels like a poor attempt to make things exciting.
