Background Info.
History: Mangetsu and his younger brother Suigetsu were born in the village of Kirigakure. When they were children Mangetsu and Suigetsu both diligently trained to one day become members of Kirigakure's Seven Swordsmen of the Hidden Mist, going on cruel missions everyday. Over the years of training, Mangetsu mastered his clans secret Hydration techniques, and became a member of the Seven Swordsmen. During his time as one of the Seven Swordsmen, he managed to master all seven of the swordsmen blades, and was entrusted to carry a scroll that allowed him to summon the blades. While in the group Mangetsu was given the Hiramekarei, a giant blade that has two handles.

Houzuki Clan Techniques and Nature Transformation:
Little else is known about his techniques, but he seems to be a Water Release user like his brother. As a member of the Hōzuki clan it is assumed that he is well versed in his clan's secret techniques. He was shown using what appeared to be the Hydrification Technique, which allows the user to turn his body into water, against an Allied Shinobi Forces ninja.
Kenjutsu:
Mangetsu was a very gifted swordsman, having been accepted into the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. According to his younger brother, Suigetsu, he was called the "Second Coming of the Demon" (鬼人の再来, Kijin no Sairai),[3] which so happens to be the same nickname that Suigetsu himself shares. His skill, power and chakra were such that he was able to wield all seven blades of the swordsmen, including the notoriously picky blade: Samehada. He was also seemingly entrusted with the scroll which contained all of the other swords.

Hiramekarei (ヒラメカレイ) is a double-handled sword of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, wielded by Choujuro. This is the only sword still in Kirigakure's possession out of the original seven blades by the time of the Fourth Shinobi World War. The weapon itself features an enormous wide and flat blade with two indentations near its base, creating a sort of guard, and two handles connected to each other by a short length of cord, earning it the title of "twinsword" (双刀, soutou). Overall the sword looks like a flatfish, hence its name.
Abilities:
The blade, and especially the two holes at the tip of the blade, are capable of emitting chakra on command, which can then be formed into various weapons, including a hammer or a longer sword. The size of the resulting weapon appears to depend upon the amount of chakra stored up beforehand, meaning a larger quantity will be met with a similar increase in the weapon's ultimate size. However, regardless of the weapon's dimensions, the emission and subsequent formation of the chakra always occurs with astounding speed. Choujuro was able to create an extremely wide sword, which was even long enough to cut Zetsu instantly in half who was standing around 8 meters away from him. The chakra emitted from the two holes work like booster jets increasing the speed and destructive force of the sword.
