well assuming mangetsu is similar in feats to suigetsu and trollkage i say he could actually take itachi out himself. hes a master at kenjutsu and part of the strongest gen of swordsmen. he might be able to fuse with his sword even since he mastered all of them.
choujiros sword defeated black zetsu so he isnt weak. sasuke can outlast itachi in a susano duel then have enough to take on mangetsu with his chidori
