Mangekyou Sharingan Affinity

Now everyone please bear with me as this is my first theory. I don't know the intricacies and the process of making a good & viable theory, but I shall try. Make of it what you will.

My belief is that every Uchiha who awakens the Mangekyou Sharingan will have an affinity for a special technique. The Uchiha Main Family (Clan Head's family) will gain the ability to use the Three Mangekyou techniques (Amaterasu, Tsukiyomi & Susano'o) but will have one technique they are more attuned with (e.g. Itachi's mastery of Tsukiyomi to the point of altering the victims time perception and Sasuke's ability to control the flames of Amaterasu to a degree that he can use Enton (Blaze Release) ninjutsu. It may also explain how Madara can form a full Susano'o and use the Meteorite Technique.

I also think that Uchihas not born of the Main family will be attuned to one unique technique (eg. Shisui's Kotoamatsukami & Obito's Kamui).

This is merely a theory, but I'm not sure if it has been posted before. If it has just clear that up for me. Any criticism pertaining this theory will be received whole - heartedly.

I believe you are close to a solid theory. I am like you very new to the whole theories realm, but if I had to throw out my own theory, I would say that every known ability of MS can be obtained by every user of MS. The really only unique thing particular to each user is the form of the seal the eye takes when activating MS.

Well genetics doesnt distinguish between main and branch family if their parents were related, however it can be that every uchihas feelings are different and there ability(s) reflect them as was stated by manga.
