Hey guys use this thread to talk about the powers of the Sharingan and even some you have made up!

I think that the Sharingan is pretty OP. I mean, it's a set of eyes that allows you to:

-Alter reality (Iznangi)
-Shoot flames that can't be put out ( Amaterasu)
-Put someone under the ultimate illusion (Kotoamatsukami)
-Torture someone in a vision simply by looking at them ( Tsukuyomi)
-Summon a giant set of ghost armor that shoots arrows (Susanoo)
-Suck someone into another dimension (Kamui)
-Oh yeah and it can control the Nine Tail Demon

and when compared to the Byakugan which is supposed to be on par with the Sharigan
-See chakra networks and nodes
-Do cool shit with chakra that pales in comparison to the Sharingan.

Yeah, being the third dojutsu, one would think that the Byakugan would get more screen time.

Tobi's space-time ninjutsu could be related to the sharingan, seeing as the center of the whirlpool it creates when he teleports its his eye.

ya it says thats his mangekyou ability and he cant use sasoo because you must have 2 to do that. but i think kakashi and tobi's eyes are very similiar

Well my favorite is Ameterasu(Izanagi destroys the eye so not that good). And one I imagined is that Mangekyou Sharingan would release these extremely thin lasers of all the elements.(Fire,wind,water,earth,lightning,lava,ice,boil and whatever other)

Well, it's a degrade version of the sage's eyes. So yea.

My personal MS would have the Amaterasu version being anything I look at turn to stone.
The Genjutsu would be a blank word where ninja tools are constantly falling from the sky, impaling you, but you never die.
My susanoo would be the inverse, instead of protecting me, it attacks them by covering them up and attacks them.

Ok and about the regular sharingan:

1.The first of the Sharingan's powers is being able to see the flow of chakra. The Sharingan can tell if a person is under a genjutsu because the person's chakra flow would be irregular.
2.The Sharingan's second-most prominent ability grants the user an incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to easily recognise genjutsu and different forms of chakra, though not to the same extent as the Byakugan. This also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements.
3.As the Sharingan evolves, gaining more tomoe seals, this ability extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the user, allowing them to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body and counterattack or dodge without any wasted movement. However, even though the user may be able to see an attack or know it is coming, their body may not always have time to react.
4.The Sharingan's most well-known ability is that it grants the user the ability to memorize almost any technique that he or she witnesses, apart from other kekkei genkai techniques. The user can memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with near perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as their own, or even modify them to create their own new techniques, much like Sasuke Uchiha's Lion Combo. In order to reproduce a copied technique, however, one must have the necessary skill or ability to perform them. A prime example is Rock Lee's brand of taijutsu. While Sasuke was able to copy some of Lee's moves, they put a much more significant strain on him since he hasn't trained nearly as much as Lee has. In addition to physical skill and kekkei genkai techniques, the Sharingan cannot reproduce techniques dependent on other factors, such as summons that the user has not signed a contract with.
