The eMS isn't a independent Dōjutsu anyway, as your statement would imply it. Even the author doesn't differentiate(in this manner) between the MS and eMS. The missing new name-giving in the raw is one evidence.
Hagoromo explained the reason why he left the stone tablet and Madara how far he could decipher it.
Madara didn't know how to obtain the Mangekyo Sharingan and the eternal Mangekyō Sharingan beforehand. He was the first person since the emergence of the Uchiha-Clan, who has awoke the MS and eMS. He unlocked the secrets of the Sharingan.
Means: The stone tablet didn't comprise the knowledge of the Mangekyo before Madara had awoke it, because no one knew about those Dōjutsu in the whole Uchiha-Clan.
