mangekyō sharingan abilities

tsukiyomi = exclusive to itachi this level of genjutsu has never been reached by any other uchiha.

kumui = exclusive to obito/kakashi

time playback = exclusive to madara

kotoamatsuki = exclusive to shisui

i think it has to do with blood line branches

sasuke&itachi... share the same m.s techs but differ on which one they use more

madara&inzuna... share the same m.s techs from what i've seen inzuna can slow time down for a small amount of time and madara can reverse time for a small period.

i think that shisui&kagami (if he had m.s) would of had simular techs like body flicker and kotoamatsuki

also i think itachi helped sasuke unlock susanoo, it natrually would of occured because big sauce has indras soul however
i think the tap in the forhead was to speed up the process

straight comma ms gives susanoo may be but all sharingans have different ability depending on the user it awakens .. like obitos s/t he awakened during rock fall or he would have been dead asap ....

I think it varies by eye and by the clan standing, ie branch ranking. It would make sense for main branch members to have similar abilities to set them apart from main branch members.
