So I've been lurking around and posting a few threads here and a few replies there and I couldn't help but notice that people lost sight of what could be the most important message in this great story; power does not matter if you have the will, the smarts and a bit of luck ! ( note the order in which they are mentioned because it matters)
With those 3 ingredients, you can accomplish anything ( holds true even life).
I understand why people go down the road of: " Yeah this guy has a technique that blows the heart of his foes and it also makes ice cream so it's complete BS when he loses" because the manga shows right now some shinobi with extraordinary features, characters that seem completely unbeatable. But this my friends is a textbook method to demonstrate how important the 3 aforementioned ingredients are.
Here's a perfect exemple.
People call BS when Obito looses to Kakashi, because he has rinnegan and kamui and the juubi. I call it he had a stronger will ( also I think that Obito is slowly loosing interest in that whole infinite tsukyomi thing therefore his own will got weaker) and he outsmarted Obito big time.
From the early pages of this story it was the morale behind it and it is what that makes it, even into my grown person's eyes, a magnificent tale.
Never give up, be smart and luck will be on your side.
