Original thread

According to AohigeAP from AP Forums, in the last One Piece Newspaper, Oda claimed that the One Piece story is roughly 60% completed.

That's a little farther along than I though

That thread was made approx 2 years ago. 22 november 2012. That having said, by the end of dressrosa arc i believe ONE PIECE will be 64% done. But i dont believe 60% to be exact. Timeskip was halfway since then not much has happened in story wise.

Anyways using their logic of 60% , speculate how far are we into the journey of ONE PIECE!

That sounds about right to me. Exactly two years ago, the story was set on Punk Hazard and the crew had just been talking to Law about an alliance. It makes sense if this is around the 60% point, and if I had to guess, then the current chapter is probably around 66%.

I think we have 10 more years of OP approx. OP might end at chapter number 1100 or 1200. Just a wild guess :p

There is still so much left for the story, even at this point
There is Wano waiting, Kaido, encounter/fight Supernovas
Luffy meeting Shanks, Zoro Mihawk
BB fight
Finding One Piece
Poneglyphs/revelation of the void century..
Big war against the world
Akainu fight
Luffy and Dragon
Everyone's dreams accomplished
Destroy fishman Island

what ever way I look at it , I just can't see One Piece ending with anyhing less than 500 chapters with so much content there still is
