No problem. I feel that I should probably also explain what I mean when I said that this series doesn't work like that and what Salamander meant when he said "how different the anime is from the manga".
Chapter 1 of Boruto started first with the Boruto vs Kawaki flash forward scene and then went straight into the events of the chunin exams/Momoshiki arc. The manga version of this arc is very different from the anime version. It does not feature fights from any other kid aside from Boruto and his opponents, and Boruto gets disqualified after his fight with Shikadai (like in the movie) instead of going all the way to Shinki like in the anime. Also, Urashiki as of right now doesn't exist in the manga, and Toneri has not appeared either.
In fact, Boruto's jougan has yet to appear in the manga aside from in the flash forward.
The only arc in the manga that has been covered by the anime is the chunin exams/ Momoshiki arc (and as I said, the two versions are very different).
None of the other arcs from the anime thus far have happened in the manga, though the Sumire/Nue arc and the Mist field trip arc are implied to have happened in the past based on certain interactions and dialogue.
Most of the anime arcs thus far have been entirely filler (including this current Mitsuki disappearance arc). However, I would take anything in the anime regarding Toneri, Urashiki and the Otsutsuki clan in general seriously.
Anyway, after the Momoshiki arc, the manga went into an arc about Boruto being a body guard to the feudal lord's son and fighting this fat bandit. That is the next "canon" arc after the Momoshiki arc that the anime has yet to cover.
By the way, there are no asspulls in the manga as Salamander said. Naruto has acknowledged on several occasions now that Boruto has been training.
