Yo what up,this is xRivai coming at you guys with my own personal theory's about the current events in the manga.

If you have a really good memory,you would remember that before the castle utgard,the Ape/beast Titan came to Connie's village,thus turning everyone into titans. It was proven by Hanji's researches and the Survey Corps conclusions.
Now onto my second part,you most likely have read all manga chapters,and one of them was the very famous chapter 50. In which Eren gained the coordinate ability,which was able to ''CONTROL'' every single titan at his will,so if he wants them to attack reiner,they do,if he wants them to attack the Smiling Titan,they would.
Now onto my third part,in the recent chapter,we learned that basically the titan shifter is a ''container'' of the titan's powers,and if a regular titan,eat a titan shifter,they gain his powers,and are able to turn into humans again,and shift to titans at will.
My Conclusion here is:
-The coordinate ability is this ''Control Panel'' in which the person that has the ability to either:
1. Turn people into REGULAR Titans.
2. Control the REGULAR Titans at will.
Well,how about the regular titans,what are they?
Here is my theory,with proof:
-You all most likely saw what happened to Eren in Trost,he was trapped into this ''DREAM'',and so his ''Titan'' was just like any stupid titan,but when armin talked to him about his Dreams,he finally was able to control it.
-The same happened to Ymir,she was trapped for about 60 years in this ''DREAM''.
So here is my conclusion:
Every Titan that earned the REGULAR titan powers,is trapped inside this dream,in which everything is fine,everything is secure,and the titans eating humans is because they are hoping to eat a titan shifter and gain his powers,and return to humans back again.
Every Titan that does not have control over his powers,can be used by the coordinate ability,and he would obey.
