Your argument is completely valid, the thing that pissed me off the most was how kishi turned Madara into a senile old man who can't get over the past and how the supporting characters like Gaara or Shikamaru started to be seen as weak and insignificant. This is why people USED TO BE Naruto fans, because of the awesome part 1 anime that did justice to each character!

WOW, are you my long lost twin brother? Hehe:) Repped dude, exactly my thoughts :)

Killing a strong characters Sasuke with a fodder move... seriously kishi, that was laughable.

Sasuke is not immune to swords.

Obito comeback...

If you're talking about the latest chapter, then Black Zetsu was keeping him alive, he merely lost conciousness for some time.

Madara suddenly turning senile, dropping SO6P tools and engaging in TNJ with Obito.... Why?
Madara is arrogant, he thinks the weapons are useless for him, and by the way, villains are allowed to make mistakes too. Obito/Black Zetsu has the other rinnegan plus half of Kurama, so it's only natural for Madara to want him by his side.

Extract 9tails = guaranteed death, no exeption, well not in Nardos case of course....

There is an exception, it's called the Uzumaki Clan.

Minato stopping Kakashi from killing Obito....

Minato thought of Obito as his responsibility, and that it was his job to make things right again. How is that an ass-pull?

Konan not removing/destroying Nagatos rinnegan after his death.....

Would you gouge out the eyes of your best friend after his death? If so, shame on you.

If the manga ended at the Pain arc, there would have been many threads left unconnected. I can understand Kishimoto's thinking in this; he considers himself to be an artist, and figured there was more he could add to his story. We all have our opinions on his story, and we shouldn't have to impose them on others.

Friends, after this war arc is finished (the manga ends) there will still be a gazillion threads left unconnected. War arc opened more doors than it close, and you know that as well my friend.

The main subject of the story is peace and understanding each other.
Different views on if it can be obtained and if so, how.
The storyline of this manga had the most depth to it after the pain arc.

Great fights for closure like Gaara vs his father wouldnt have been shown.
Abilities like Izanami wouldnt have been shown if it ended after the pain arc.
Shinobi from different countries who used to fight against each other,
who fight together now, would not have been shown.
We wouldnt have seen Kages from the past.
We would not have seen bijou and jincs befriending each other.
We would not have seen Naruto and Kurama become friends (one of the
best parts in the series imo, when he says ''You are no longer a monster fox,
you are a partner from a citizen of the leaf village, you are Kurama!''.
Sasuke going through change wouldnt have been part of the story.
Tobi is Obito would not have been revealed.
Naruto connecting feelings through the whole shinobi Alliance.
I could list plenty more.

I think you would have missed a lot of awesome parts of this
series if it ended after the pain arc.

So, this is how I think the Manga should have ended

* Itachi defeated Kabuto and stopped Edo-Tensei
-> Everyone (Also Madara) should be dead

* Naruto defeated Obito

* Final Fight. Naruto vs. Sasuke. Sasuke dies

Lol maybe! I was actually a fan of Jiraiya and the whole sage mode training with Naruto was really cool. From the moment that Madara Uchiha was introduced into the series and I read the chapter or saw the episode I became a fan so you know I was pissed off when 1. OBITO WAS THE MASKED MAN and 2. MADARA IS INTRODUCED AS THE OLD GUY HOOKED UP TO AN IV SOUNDING LIKE AN UNCOOL ******* SCREWING UP OBITO'S LIFE!!! Damn that was a letdown.

I highly, absolutely, stupidly, any adverb you can find, disagree with you on that the manga shouldve ended in Pain arc. By then we had wayyyyyy too many lose ends, and most of us would ***** so hard about it that Kishi would end up becoming the Justin Bieber of mangakas, way too many haters, those who like his work are idiots who cannot analyize or criticize properly to save their lives, if im explaining myself correctly. Plus, some of, like above me some posts have said, enjoyed some of the arcs after Pain (i hated that arc btw, with all the screw up, bullshit, and TnJ on narutos part), for example i really enjoyed Sasuke's character in 5 kage summit arc due to how much you can see he has changed, to me, that arc has been the peak of his character.

I do agree though that the manga has been dragged on too much, which became a little bit too apparent in War arc, i cant say exactly what went wrong bar the asspulls that have been coming since Itachi turned out to be good, but theres definetely some sides of the plot that Kishi didnt handle correctly or just didnt think of them thoroughly.

Btw, theres no perfect manga? FullMetal alchemist, much?

uhm no. we need backstories for ppl like Orochimaru. Sasuke wasn't even in the Pein arc that much. So how could the story resolve in that arc when it was all about naruto? Fail thinking = fail

This isn't DBZ.. or other comics.. the focus of the story is peace and understanding and how it can be achieved. "Power-ups" and etc aren't the main focus either..

Please don't compare a child (Pain Arc) to an Adult (War Arc)..

Impose??? LOL. if you dont like my thread then why read it? Last time i checked this is a forum, a place of free speech and where i can share my opinion. So STFU and get of my thread if you dont like it.

Heh, I was gonna leave but thought that I show some consideration and advise you as a kind person. :yeah: Yah don't get offended over something like this, but remember that it's not good to just assume that everybody thinks the way you do because not everyone does. U_U
