Neferpitou is actually a female.

One thing that it wasn't stated directly stated in the manga, but in both the anime and manga, other characters would often call it "she". There was an instance in Yu Yu Hakusho that a female was being called by male words, but then Togashi said it was a female. The thing is that Neferpitou was said many times to be "she".

And Neferpitou is actually very hot.
