What if Sasuke made his small on purpose to fit Kurama, but it can indeed grow to the size of Madara's? There's always that possibility.

lol this is far from likely... you must consider sasuke may have needed kurama's cloak to do it in the first place. though it has not been proven that sasuke needed kurama's chakra, there is more evidence that suggests that is the case than there is evidence that he downsized his susanoo to accommodate for naruto.

Yes this is true. But regardless madara's suasnoo would still be larger. Even if sasuke did not have wrap it around kurama, his susanoo would be smaller than madara's. Madara has a way larger chakra pool. susanoo is a manifestation of ones chakra. so by logic madara's susanoo is still bigger

Its far from likely because we dont know if he can even perform PS without an outside party's support. it has not been proven he can, nor is there evidence supporting it. so how can he downsize if its not even known if he can make it that big in the first place.

You wasted your time posting two separate scans. You merely had to post the scan in which Hashirama was throwing back a Bijuudama from Kurama. Madara hadn't even had his Susano'o sprout legs (V4 Sasuke's Susano'o if you need reference) and it was near the size of Kurama who was on two legs and slightly bending. Perfect Susano'o is a good couple of touches above Kurama in height given that Madara had to fit it around Kurama, rather than just put it on him.
