[Suggestion] Manga Predictions Contest

Ur right. Winning a contest is hard and there are lots of members will be participating if the contest will be proven. So do u think we should lessen the consecutive wins in order to get a medal? Or by picking the best I mean the BEST prediction so far in the week either in creativity or the closeness to the chapter?

Maybe you could have a monthly vote where you vote for the one prediction that members considered best during those weeks?
You could maybe make it so that only the top one/two/three or whatever theories would be admitted to this vote, making it so that even though you got the 1st place during one week, you might not get it here.

Making it a week from week thing could have a negative effect on the prestige of wining the medal.
This would also eliminate the need for consecutive wins

Goood suggestiond and bout being afraid that your work could be copied i think it can be avoided by the mods that is,if they make the contest invisible to us members like the new mod contest thing and if they is a way to do it the mods can set the submitting date between 1-3 days before the chapter being predicted upon should come out and then they can can judge/re-read all predictions to see which one's closest to the actual scene i think this way could help easy their work but hey how would they read all(i had the mods re few) 50-70 pridiction within some days(like 2-5) unless the contest should be done monthly.

Hmmmm. If the contest will be done monthly, the predictions will build up and considering there are maybe 5 chapters per month. Unless there are preliminary rounds.

Yeah, it would be time consuming..

Hmmmm that's good! Like every week there will be elimination rounds and at the end of the month will be the voting on the best predictions on those weeks.

Hey buddy, i think they is something you forgot to do first.
You should adress it to the staffs like DEAR NB STAFFS blabla that way they won't ignore your thread and you should be humble and respectful to the staff i.e when editing the thread remove all the 'hey guys is have a suggestion' and go straight to the point.
Note; it in the rule that with the way you started your thread it could be ignored so i suggest you edit this post to make it formal.

The theory behind it might sound nice, but when put into practice it doesn't work, at least not on a forum as large as NB. The time frame is extremely short and what can be acceptable and what not is extremely subjective. Saying that Naruto will fight next week is a prediction too, but it's barely worth awarding someone for that. Then you also have the issue was he the first one to actually predict it? People could just copy other people's predictions. On top of that I rarely see predictions that are worth all the hassle this contest would bring along as most of the predictions are or shallow or so obvious or are just randomly guessing that I still can't understand why people even bothered making threads for it and I don't really see a reason to award people for that.

If someone actually would make a very good and unique theory/prediction and a mod likes it, that mod can just give him an award for it without having to hold some kind of contest.
