You have to. You won't be disappointed. I would go as far as saying it's as good as FMA. Seriously, don't let the anime, or the childish aura of the franchise discourage you from reading.

Chapter 14 of BW is out. Oh, and we'll get one less update since one of the magazines that Pokespe is updating in is going out.
Pokespecial is the true Pokemon. They really need to release the anime. It'll definitely draw back the 1st Generation viewers since we're more mature and this series is actually mature and realistic. Hurry up Japan! Save us from 4kids

Yep, I'm finally up-to-date with BW. I' in love with Black btw. I thought he was going to be some wannabe-Red, but I found him a really interesting character.
