Manga or Anime?

I have heard good things about the Attack on Titan manga and anime, but now i am ready to give it a try, would it be best to just watch the anime or read the manga and leave out the anime?

If you're a pleb like me, watch the anime. I marathon it in a whole day. That's how good it was.

You can actually watch the anime first then pick up the manga around chapter 34 and keep reading. The anime is very loyal to them manga.

I myself started with the anime then the manga, afterwards re read the manga from chapter 1. You don't loose either way.

The anime has such awesome animation, and such a great soundtrack, that it far surpasses the manga, IMO.

Anime is better than the manga because its visually amazing and the soundtrack is something else. So yeah definitely watch the anime then continue with the manga, it might get boring at times but what is currently happening right now changes the whole story.

the manga is only good because the story is good. but the animation stomps just because its more engaging and a dynamic medium than the manga could ever be

so its hard to say, i caved and wanted to know what happened and gave up on waiting for the anime. but i think if i wouldve experienced what happened in the manga in anime form first, like i did with the first season. i wouldve enjoyed it more
