Who else thinks sometimes the manga chapters are very short?
The "stone will" chapter was 14 pages and even when there are decent pages it doesn't feel very long :(:scorps:

You do realize that Kishimoto-sensei is on a tight schedule right? Aside from creating the idea for a chapter, he needs to draw a draft of it, then go to his editor with it, discuss the new chapter and then if the new chapter is approved, he can begin to draw it for real, adding shades, inking it etc .... Even with a team that's taxing and it takes a lot of time. I admire him for being able to create so much pages in such a short time. Just enjoy the chapters or wait until the manga comes out - then the chapters will seem longer because the manga combines a couple of chapters.

Guess your right sasunarufan13 ( love your username xD ) but other manga's for eg. fairytail average 20 pages and did a special of 27 pages just " now ", just sayin :p
I guess its just because im getting impatient to find out about many things as we all are but sometimes some chapters dont really show much at all :(

Honestly, I am so sick of people complaining when they don't even pay for it :shrug:

And I don't think most people understand how they are actually supposed to read the manga. You read it as a volume. Every month or so, you know that a volume is released, which consists of about 10 to 15 chapters (I think). You're supposed to read it as one, like you read books in a series.

The manga seems slow and short and fights drag on and bla bla bla, because we get one chapter every week. By the time a new chapter is released, most of us can't even remember how it's connected from the previous chapter. We think of it as a completely new issue on its own.

If you go back and start reading the war from the very beginning now, you'll really enjoy it more and won't think of it as short and slow. Every chapter is connected from the previous... and you'll notice -_- Give it a try. I tried this with the invasion of Pain arc and it was awesome. Problem is, you'll eventually catch up to the latest chap again and then... frustration xd

Just my 2cents, is all :noc:

Yup they are short, I mean how can Kubo make 20 pages of awesome drawn Manga, and kishi can't... I think it's just to make the manga last Longer, He said in an Interview that everything is planned out, and he knows exactly how the last battle would go.

And please cut the crap about it being free, you'll pay let's say 5$ each week, you can save for that amount of money for god's sake, and Bleach manga is free, and it's 20 pages...

I don't read Fairytail but what is the schedule of the chapters posting? With Naruto it's every week, which explains the 'small' chapters, but with Black Butler for example, readers have to wait for a whole month (every 18th of the month, there's a new chapter) to read a new chapter.
So it depends on the schedule of the mangaka. If they have more than a week, then they can easily create large chapters as opposite to only having a week or so.
That's what you to keep in mind - the schedule of mangakas is not the same for everyone

Fairytail comes out every week
Maybe the mangaka has a large team (the mangakas have to pay the assistants of their own loans if I remember correctly) or they work ahead or they just work faster LOL
I don't know with how many they work on Fairytail sorry ^^;
