Manga is beyond saving

So you're saying that the Juubi was a tree this whole time, human don't naturally have chakra, the sage managed to live until he was an adult despite the most powerful entity in existence was hunting him and his mother, the entire thing of sage/beast chakra is already abandoned, AND the tree is stated to go for the biggest chakras first yet goes for fodder over Sasuke? I'm not even a Sasuke fanboy, but I think that's just plain stupid. Sasuke was closer to the site of impact than the fodder trash.

This chapter just reinforces more of the reasons that people treat Naruto like a joke now. Kishi has rammed his series to the ground. I can't even mention I keep up with Naruto without getting flamed by people. I know not no manga is perfect, but this is just silly now. So many asspulls, stalling, and wasted potential.

I still read it because I was there from the very start. I was in the series when Kishi actually cared. I've always been curious about where the series is going to go. Just seeing Kishi tearing it down into this convoluted mess just kills me. I don't HATE the manga, I just dislike where Kishi is dragging it. Most of the decisions he makes aren't even for artistic purpose, but almost seem like he's just trying to asspull something to move the plot along.

Imagine you're kid grows up and becomes a no good criminal. Yeah, you don't like what you become, but you still check on them because you really care about them. I guess you can say that's how I feel about the manga right now.

The manga has had many inconsistencies though some of things you mentioned aren't that bad. Still though, the inconsistencies and stalling is getting old. I'm gonna stick around til the end (I've been in to this story for many years, it'd be stupid to quit now) but man, Kishi is just not a good at story telling as he used to be for me.
