15 years experience of drawing characters isn't going to be imitated through a couple of chapters.I guess people read this Ikemoto manga for so long they have forgotten what Naruto really looked like and set this as the standard .Its nowhere close to Kishi's art imo.Even Part 1 Naruto had better art

I just hope it stops and i assume sasuke gave his chakra to naruto. Just going by how kurama avatar had an aura and broke the golem's arm.

I did , and I didn't expect to say this , but hell it was much better than the movie , momokishi was bad-ass , and the events of the story made more sense , and the fight was just so amazing that I wouldn't mind a whole movie recap in the new anime series(Boruto) just to animate his fight

Why should I need to hope to see the art progress on a published manga? While his art from the previous chapters may have improved. His character designs and scenes still look sketchy. He is no where near what Kishi was nor will he ever be near his kind of art. Cause from the very beginning his art and Kishi's were completely different.

This dude sucks at making legit facial expressions while Kishi never failed in that department. Even in his very first chapters you could see potential in improvement. With Ikemoto you see a completely different style. This is like how Super is in anime to DBZ.

His art will only improve his current style of art. Even at his most improved form it will never be comparable to Kishi. Its best to consider this as a whole different manga made by some dude whose doing a fanfic.

If anything, the manga has left out most of the best stuff that was in the movie. The movie fight was epic, here it was naruto getting punched twice, Momoshiki getting punched twice, Mokuton, Bijuu Susanoo, GG.

It was already sad that they left out most of the Sasuke Vs Kinshiki fight, now they also took away some of the best strength and speed feats from Naruto and Sasuke and practically all the ninjutsu feats from Momoshiki.

Admittedly, it is understandable since the manga only has 40 pages to work with but still, that DBZ-like punch and dash sequence was really not needed and could have been replaced with something more original.

When you see this art compared to the published material if gives off red signals. If this was some fan made series I doubt anyone would care. But sadly its being published monthly. I agree, but, the Boruto Manga was never advertised with Kishimoto's style. From the start it was Ikemoto's version of the Naruto characters. I don't think it's more of a wait for them to look normal, rather than to adjust to the new style. You might not like it now, but you might feel it later.

It's just a matter of perspective. I didn't generally like it at first but they don't look too terrible. Although we haven't seen Hinata/Himawari/girls yet... so.

Even those who despised Gaiden came out saying that Sarada's character had shown through well. She's dynamic and has a good range of emotion and story-telling potential. On the other hand Boruto is too much like Naruto to really be convincing as a fresh face for the series, which is important if you want to engage readers. As long as the new anime is careful about placing focus on a variety of characters though, it should be mildly successful.

I'm just saying to give it some time. They might look like shit to you now, but maybe one day you might get accustomed to it. Or it'll just straight out improve.

It's shit now in certain areas but I feel like definitely the last two chapters have shown that the artist isn't bad. But again none of his worse character concepts were shown, only like Naruto/Sasuke/Boruto/Gokages whom he draws moderately (not the best but 50/50).

If this was from his perspective than its nothing more than a spin-off that does not deserve the attention it gets. Those who followed this series got used to Kishi's art. Well I respect your opinion on the matter. I just hope the art can fit your tastes sometime in the future, although I wouldn't expect the art to turn into Kishimoto's anytime soon.

That manga was goddamn horrible. Liked Wtf. y'all are just happy cos sasuke's speed feat wasn't shown. The fight in the manga is like black and white compared to that in the movie (what a coincidence). Maybe this was the new guy's plan: make y'all so thirsty for some naruto manga that you would fap to anything he delivers.

Look who isn't happy and has a Sasuke avatar? Are NB posters really this transparent? Who can tell.

Honestly the 'speed feat' as you guys are overanalysing it, strikes me as a pure animation moment of choreography, something the animators chose to do visually because it looked breathtaking than any breakdown analysis of their speeds.

Weren't they planning a combo also? They were never racing each other and Sasuke sped ahead and Naruto slowed behind so he could act as the second attack with the sword. Naruto & Sasuke fans have such little content that they over-dissect stuff like crazy.
