Manga for its story or its fans?

Lately when i saw comments towards the manga and its context regarding to characters' states refferrals are rather pointing out the fanbases instead of the characters themselves.

What i mean is people are focusing on how the occurances on manga effected the viewers instead of how it effected the characters and story itself.

Example:

-Kishi trolled Sasuke fans
-Kakashi fans are rising
-Field day for Sakura fans
-Naruto fans were right
-LoL Kaguya fans

.......etc. Same goes for pairintards mind you.

The story is not a story anymore, it is something more of a service to people and mainly the image on their heads. Of course fans are meant to get pleased and we view the things from our on perspectives but from the bigger picture plainly shit does not make sense. But it does not matter even if does make sense or not because author can casually satisfy millions by throwing a bait for any of the current characters. Something for Sakura and boom! millions are tripping. Something for Kakashi and his fans are on roll. He has insane amount of fans and just does not have to care becuase whatever he does fans will get their way.

Since when people are talking about where plot goes or the recent developments and changes other than powerups? It makes sense because plot is in a stale pace and there are not developments or changes barring powerups. The story and characters are simply gone. We just view pictures and words of characters we saw for 700 chapters, they are just "there" but not there either.

Where all of these tie in...what i mean is manga is a constant case of fanservice. I do not know about you guys but i do not read a story, i read fanservice.

Edit:Inb4 someone says "don't like don't read" just understand that critism and opinions towards something are not always positive and people are allowed to have opinions. Should i leave my country because i do not like the ones currently ruling it? No people think different just deal with it.

For the peeps who say "you take the manga too seriously" yeah i would like to take something i read and watch seriously.

Can't believe such side notes are still necessary...

You seem dissatisfied. How about not reading it at all then?

Kishi did say all your fav characters will shine or something like that in the war arc.

That's how he increases his audience. Is a story not meant to entertain its readers?

This is very true-the threads and posters on NB and others forums have proved that for some time now. But be prepared for some moron to come in and say something stupid like "don't like it-don't read it!" Lol

this manga is still story manga

there are no fanservice

But what Kishi lack is understanding about good plot orchestrated.

He look to rush sometime, he failed to show characters potential, he lack in building fighting scene/panel especially in part 2 Naruto

Well that's the case for manga anyway.

Yes but it is not a story anymore. A good story is both a respectful work and pleases its fans. There is a reason why books like "The Alchemist" and "1984" sold a lot and carry the aspects of great reading materials. Also books like "Twilight" sold a lot but it was for pleasing a large amount of viewers so can be read a lot. Naruto is being Twilight now.

Crawl back to your hole.

The Alchemist? Nicholas Flamel? Josh and Sophie? That Alchemist?

And yes. Sometimes dumbing down your story in favor of flashiness attracts more people. In fact, I would say it usually does.

I don't really know what to say about if it's fanservice or not, but it's interesting how Kishi gives importance to all team 7.
Some people which read manga are fighting between them -_-, as always.

I think that last 4 chapters has happened quickly, but it's good...now we are nearer to the end of the story (maybe). I think all these don't change the main argument of manga.
Kishimoto once said that he always had in his mind how to finish manga, I wonder,
would he change the end?

Not only is it fanservice, its getting very predictable as well. After every bashing that particular char will get an amazing powerup.
I'm calling for 2 Rinnegan Sasuke now.

So are you completely satisfied with how the story of the War arc unfolded? In my opinion it's one of the worst arc in a popular anime series.
And I love how you left Maddie fans out, despite the fact that they are the most vocal...

"The Alchemist" of Paulo Coelho. A great book with more recognition than Naruto ever had and will have.

@bold that's just disgraceful yet true. I do not deny dumbing it down or flashiness brings more popularity but there are more respectful ways.

Yup pretty sure Sasuke fans will have their roll too.

Nope but it is gettin ridiculous beyone comprehension as of lately. War arc priorly was much more decent than current stage.
Those chars were just examples... They can be anyone.

Naruto's manga is made for the fan, imo.

Kishimoto is a try hard, and bad writer

I'm sorry for accusing. I didn't pay enough attention when you said etc. Either way, I'm fed up with Kishi's lack of capability to develop more than one character at a time. It's like he needs a chapter to show a few jutsu from each character... And one thing that I'm fed up with are all these Madara threads. Maddie was the one who brought this story down since his introduction, then came Hashi and all this god-like figures that can defeat armies easily and stuff. Sure, some find them cool because of their power, but if we are to judge Naruto pre-God figures introduction and Naruto post-God figures introduction we can clearly see that the manga's quality decreased heavily.

Yeah definitely, most of the people on here are reading to see their fav on top or something like that and bragging on an Internet forum about it, most don't even give a shit about the story. It's quite a strange phenomenon.

@bold that's why the 'bonds' in manga majorly suck.

Lol yeah people jump on Madara bandwagon but honestly 'being better compared to Kaguya' is nothing much.

Yup in summary this is the case.
