There's no such thing as Naruto using partial transformation though. Whenever he wanted to use something like Chakra Arms, he was always in a battle mode.

That's because Naruto has become more experienced with Kuramas power. In the last he channeled Kuramas chakra into 1 hand. This is probably very similar to that.

If it dosen't require him to go bm for the claw why would you he go bm for the head?

The head probably requires more chakra to use and he was powering up at the time. Extending Kuramas claw for a brief moment probably doesn't take a lot.

I'm not question dodging :| He only extended Kuramas claw for a brief moment. He powered up in BSM to get serious. Although to fully answer your question maybe or maybe not he can also briefly summon Kuramas head.

If you can prove to me that it was somehow a wind tech then I might consider it. Until then Naruto learning any new jutsu outside of Kuramas power can be considered fanfic.

- Why did Naruto swing his arm down then upwards like the paw/claw?

- Does Naruto need to move to use Kurama?

My eyesight is fine, What I see is Naruto from one point to another moving his hand in a swift movement creating a barrier over him and Sarada to negate the weapons that were first targeted at them both.

If it looks like anything it seems more like a Wave of Wind created from the resulting force Naruto used.
