I agree that kishimoto wasted a lot potential in the war arc,
7 swordsmen, Kakashis rampage ( off panel)
KKG users ( haku, Gari, ...) not shown very often
3 raikage finished by a cage bun shin
edo jins in the anime, the fight feels so short
....

There are many things which needed to be more explained but in the end one can only watch and accept.

Team 7 having their final mission together was good, naruto and sasuke got enough screen time, i would be bored if there had fight alone kaguya.
Kakashi gaining rikudo power explained why he could wield susanno, but i don't know why he got it there you right.

All in all the manga still is good and i enjoy every chapter till the end, but i feel kinda sad, there are many things to me which felt rushed, but shit happens.

Actually, Ashura IMO comes from Zoro's cursed sword. It was shown that he even sense that sword's presence (hinting it's demonic power) and it's power was further showcased when he used ebizu onigiri in the courtroom.

As for Gon doing what he did ..... If I remember correctly he created a new nin technique with higher stipulations. The higher the cost the better the power, that's how kurapika got one of his chains so powerful
