What is your favorite anime/manga and why is it your favorite???

If the anime and manga were in the same place then anime.

But I read manga to learn new things and I watch anime to see how it plays out in live action.

Favorite manga: Naruto, because the only other manga I've read through is Fullmetal Alchemist.
Favorite anime: Lupin III. I don't have the time to describe why this is my favorite. It's just that damn good. Watch it.

Are ya asking if we prefer anime or manga? I usually prefer mangas. Cuase anime last too long and the narrative isn't that gud. -sigh- Specially Naruto anime. There a lot of unnesesary slows down and close up that don't give anything special to the narrative nor the story pace. They move in a boring way.
Now...if which is my fav manga/anime...I'd say Evangelion for anime (it's just too sick...its animation was amazing!). For manga: Soul Eater: it has a very interesting story, very cool battles and epic characters (even secondary ones are beasts!).

Damn thats hard. I've kept a list of all the animes and Mangas I've ever watched and/or read and my list is currently at 93.... Sooooo if I had to pic.... :sy: (at myself)

Imma just give you my top ten cuz i honestly can't choose.

I prefer manga but if the anime seems good, then I'll watch it.

Manga: Naruto - I only read 2 and One Piece can get boring sometimes.

Anime: Death Note - A battle of smarts with two people who are almost exactly alike trying to kill each other, what's not to love?

Soul Eater (manga)

It's ongoing and my favorite. Why? Everyone is equal. There are guys and girls who are main characters and powerful. Everyone gets equal screen time. Supporting characters get equal screen time. It's like a Tim Burton type manga. I love the art, the characters, just everything. Amazing scenes and character development. It's has everything I consider an awesome manga.
